Here’s a quandary – how do we personally connect with the members of the BRIGHT family when it’s not safe to physically gather in one place?
Aha! A distanced drive-through event was the answer!
Aug. 26 marked yet another first for the BRIGHT Run. Thanks to a bunch of volunteers, we pulled off our first drive-through T-shirt and swag pick-up event at lovely LIUNA Station in downtown Hamilton.
Hundreds of BRIGHT folks turned up to collect their stuff and nab a chance to win a tub full of adult beverages. Music, balloons, special guests – including our favourite Olympic hockey players Laura Fortino and Sarah Nurse – and, most of all, BRIGHT Run registrants, made for an excellent “together yet apart” afternoon!
