Ok, BRIGHT folks, only a month and a bit to go until BRIGHT Run 2021!
It’s time for that final push that will get us to this year’s goal of raising $300,000 for local breast cancer research.
If you haven’t registered, it’s easy, so do it now and you’ll be eligible to win this month’s special dining card! Then get going on your fundraising and planning for your own special BRIGHT celebration on September 11.
This month’s eNews has some very helpful info for all of us, starting with T-shirt pickup day on August 25. It’s a drive-through again this year – to make sure we all stay safe – and the swag bag promises to be pinkful! Make sure to pink up your car for a chance to win a special surprise!
We’ve also got some helpful hints from long-time fundraisers about how to ask for donations, as well as how to find some tips and tools on the BRIGHT website.

As well, we’ve taken a look at how some of our BRIGHT volunteers have contributed this year and last – despite the lack of in-person event – and how much we’re looking forward to seeing a few hundred blue volunteer shirts when we return to Dundas Valley Conservation Area for 2022, pandemic willing!
