The last weekend in April was one for the BRIGHT fundraising record book!
In the space of three days, at two events, BRIGHT Run 2024 raised about $6,000!
BRIGHT team In It Together held a hugely successful live-music event at the Express Restaurant on Gray’s Road in Stoney Creek. The team raised more than $3,000 at the event, which included raffles and a 50/50 draw.
Meanwhile, BRIGHT volunteers staffed a table at the three-day annual Hamilton Women’s Hockey League (HWHL) tournament. The penny sale debuted, pink ribbon socks sold for $5 each, and there was a draw for a Professional Women’s Hockey League Toronto autographed Sarah Nurse jersey.
On top of all that, Steve Maikawa, co-owner of Mak’s Source for Sports, made a generous donation, bringing our fundraising total to almost $3,000!
