Set your alarm – and your PVR – so you can get a BRIGHT start to your day on Wednesday, Sept. 4. That’s when BRIGHT Run 2024 survivor spokesperson Carissa Smith will tell her breast cancer story on CH Morning Live.
Diagnosed with Stage 3B triple negative breast cancer in February 2023, Carissa is no stranger to the BRIGHT Run. For years as the superintendent of the Dundas Valley Conservation Area, she was the first to arrive on site on event day to get things started – at 6 a.m.!
Carissa will share her unique perspective on the BRIGHT Run and talk about what the BRIGHT community means to her.
Event chair Nancy McMillan will join Carissa in conversation with CH personality Annette Hamm.
