BRIGHT Run 2025 has set a hefty fundraising goal of $518,000. We know we can do it! And it will be easier the sooner we start.
Several teams made a head start even before registration opened for 2025. Late last year, at least six BRIGHT teams held fundraising events, bringing in more than $5,000 in total! So far this year, there have been two team sales in the Juravniski Cancer Centre lobby, with another planned for April.
In the late winter lull before spring starts to bloom, there’s plenty of time to plan some fun fundraising efforts of your own.
Start planning a yard sale for early spring. Think about a fundraising barbecue/games party for the warmer weather. Talk to your teammates about a bake sale, a book sale, a craft sale.
If you work outside the home, try a few random draws at your workplace: guess how many mini chocolate bars in the jar, win a gift card for a nearby coffee shop, try your luck at chase the Ace!
Launch an online fundraiser for your birthday. Try a virtual silent auction or spin the wheel game. The possibilities are endless!
