“Doing something meaningful for my soulmate and keeping her spirit alive.”
My late wife became actively involved while undergoing treatment for breast cancer, attending several annual Cancer Assistance Program (CAP) fundraisers. Not long after, she discovered the BRIGHT Run, which meant a great deal to her.
In October 2015, her health began to decline, and on December 22, 2015, she sadly passed away.
In 2017, I chose to continue what she could not. Every step I take today is taken in her memory and on her behalf.
R.I.P, my love. XOI 💋
Volunteering each year at the BRIGHT Run allows me to meet wonderful people while giving me a sense of purpose: doing something meaningful for my soulmate and keeping her spirit alive.
