You saw the YWCA Encore folks in action at BRIGHT Run 2022, getting us all warmed up to hit the trail. This fall, you’ll be able to participate in the Encore program again – in person!
The free eight-week program will run on Thursdays from Oct. 6 to Nov. 24, 1.30 to 3.30 p.m., at Tansley Woods Community Centre, 1996 Itabushi Way, Burlington.
This exercise and educational program is designed for those who have had mastectomy, lumpectomy or breast reconstruction surgery at any time in their lives. Each class will feature an educational presentation by a guest speaker, with time for discussion, followed by gentle exercises with the goal of increasing strength, mobility and flexibility.
