BRIGHT Run is pleased to participate, for the second year in a row, in a call for research proposals by the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation.
BRIGHT-funded grants are available in two categories:
- Research development grants, which allow researchers to gather data that will help create more extensive applications to other funding agencies. These projects last up to 24 months.
- Thematic research grants are for more significant projects focusing on crucial research questions in one of three areas: clinical trial projects, translational projects, or quality of care and knowledge translational projects. They must be completed within 36 months.
To qualify, the primary investigator must be involved in the cancer program at the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre . Special consideration will go to early career investigators.
Applications must be submitted by April 30.
