The annual Pink Ribbon Ride in support of BRIGHT Run is set for June 3 at SummerLeeze Equestrian Centre in Caledonia!
The ride has raised more than $63,000 over its 16-year history.
Renowned coach and trainer Bill Challis will lead a dressage clinic for participants. The day also features a barbecue and silent auction.
Amber and Crystal Ripa began the event in 2007, after losing their grandmother to breast cancer in February that year. Initially, the proceeds went to the Princess Margaret Hospital’s Weekend to End Breast Cancer. In 2009, the Pink Ribbon Ride began to raise funds for BRIGHT Run, which supports local breast cancer research at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and McMaster University.
At this year’s Pink Ribbon ride, a 45-minute private lesson is $100, a semi-private lesson is $75, and the fee for auditors is $30 for the day.
