Well BRIGHT folks, we sure blew the doors off that one!
Congratulations and many thanks to our participants, volunteers and community partners for a spectacular return to in-person BRIGHT after two years of COVID-necessitated virtual events.
The 2022 fundraising goal was $315,000. Unless you’ve been asleep for the past two weeks, you know your hard work took us above and beyond that goal!
The cheque presented on event day – for $502,153.18 – was just the beginning. Since then, the BRIGHT fundraising total has reach an amazing $515,000!
On top of that, it was a day of BRIGHT sunshine and BRIGHT smiles as we all celebrated our face-to-face reunions. It was a testament to what we can accomplish when we work together for a common cause – breast cancer research at our own Juravinski Cancer Centre and McMaster University.
